Production takes place in our own factories in Kinna, Sweden, and in Qingpu (Shanghai), China. We control and own the entire manufacturing process, from the drawing board and the choice of yarn and raw materials to the chosen solution and the finished product. This provides unique opportunities to influence and develop each part of the process. This is complemented by a network of good supplier relations. For customers, this means great flexibility to adapt to changes in requirements – whatever the size of project.
The horticulture segment is extremely dynamic due to the ever increasing requirements for higher productivity. Most actors are constantly looking for ways to further improve their climate, yield, crop quality and ultimately their bottom line. High productivity requires technology, including automation of labour and material handling, logistics optimisation and the manipulation or creation of a specific climate. Svensson climate screens give the grower more effective climate control, thus improving productivity and extending the cultivation period. Svensson engineers climate screens to bend the climate that Mother Nature offers into one that the plant prefers and responds to.
Our own research and development department continuously generates new products, for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. It will be no surprise that we collaborate with the best research institutes, universities and other third parties to develop and trial newly developed concepts and materials.
