We’ve come a long way since Ludvig Svensson first tried his hand at the textile trade. What he would make of us now, a leading international textile company with three international brands - Svensson Markspelle, Svensson and more recently Väveriet - is anyone’s guess. Beyond doubt is the passion we share with those who came before us. A passion to develop and manufacture the highest quality textiles.
Since the outset, interior decorators, architects and a host of different craftsmen have put our interior textiles to good use. And in the mid 1970s, we branched out by providing the horticultural market with special technical textiles for greenhouse cultivation.
Our goal is to keep our thinking fresh, so that we can carry on delivering outstanding design and function within each of our product ranges. And the only way to do this is by learning even more from you, our customer – now and in the years to come.
